Fight to reduce wasteful spending and pet projects! Hold the city accountable for expensive or inefficient programs!
Attract new businesses to the region! Support businesses and job-creation through support programs and deregulation! Encourage trade apprenticeship! Promote cultural events and local tourism!
Maintain social safety nets! Ensure access to social and child services!
Responsibility – accountable to the people and the environment!
Represent all citizens of Ward 7! Respond to inquiries in a timely manner!
Reduce criminal activity by supporting police services! Keep drug-use off the streets!
Promote road safety and repair! Fix crumbling roads and pot-holes! Ensure by-law enforcement of reduced speed limits! Ensure on-time snow removal! Monitor the ATV-route pilot project for impacts to tourism and safety!
Respect the environment, and fight against pollution! Responsible waste management!
Ensure support for long-term care facilities such as Victoria Manor! Maintain ambulance services!
Meet Zachary Tisdale
Zachary is the Business Analytics and Segmentation Lead at a mutual insurance company. He is a Fellow Chartered Insurance Professional, an Associate of Insurance Data Analytics, and is Chair on the Kawartha-Durham Council of the Insurance Institute of Canada.
He has lived in Lindsay, Ontario for 7 years with his wife Amanda and their children Mackenzie and Connor. He graduated from the University of Waterloo with a degree in Mathematics and Business Administration, with a minor in economics.
